This just came in...
... via Arwen. Just when you think GWB can't possibly get any more nauseating than he already is, he opens his mouth.
During the next presidential elections, 300 million US citizens have the unique chance to do a great big favor to all 6 billion human beings on this planet by not re-electing that dumb schmuck. Please don't squander it...
The Most Asked-For Post in the History of Gudy Two Shoes
It's interesting for me to see how the time of day influences the way we have sex. Due to the way our lifes are scheduled, most of our sex happens in the late evening hours. And evening sex definitely tends to the straighforward, hot, sweaty, needy side of things: making out, licks and kisses everywhere, an extended session of pussy licking (my favorite), often together with some heavy duty g-spot stimulation, and a thorough fuck to top it all off are are frequently found ingredients to this kind of activity.
In contrast, sex in the early afternoon hours, which is far more rare for us, tends to be more playful. This is usually the time when new things are tried out for the first time (unless we try out something new out of the need for more stimulation, as was the case with our discovery of her g-spot). Bobby Sue saw its premiere on an afternoon, and the same is true for the few mild variations of anal play I have introduced and am continuing to introduce into our sex life.
Morning sex is the most rare, which I hope will change once we've moved into our new home. The reason for that rarity is all too clear: The in-laws are sticklers for breakfast at 8:30 on the spot, and having your lovemaking interrupted by a call of "Breakfast is ready!" from downstairs is, um, distracting and ultimately disappointing. While I am perfectly OK with making love first and having breakfast later, my wife somehow can't bear the thought of leaving her parents waiting or telling them that we'd like to do a separate breakfast later in the morning. This, as you can imagine, is a point of mild contention between us that will hopefully resolve soonish.
Morning sex is most often slow and cuddly, it's the most emotionally charged sex for me, because it is somehow the most apt to give expression to our mutual love. And because I'm emotionally needy right now, it is also my favorite kind of sex at the moment.
When my wife woke me by showering my face with kisses on Sunday morning (sadly she hasn't yet tried to wake me up with a blowjob, I guess I'll have to drop a hint or two in the near future...), I did what has almost become a reflex when waking up: I turned to lie on my left side, spooned against her back and cuddled up to her, content to just lie there and slowly regain my senses. She had other plans, though, which became apparent when she grabbed my cock through the wide legs of my boxer-like pajama shorts and started caressing it most seductively.
Still half asleep, I began nuzzling her neck and earlobes in response, while my right hand found its way under her night shirt to her breasts which it began caressing almost of its own volition. This slow, mutual stroking and caressing continued for some unmeasured time, only interrupted by the occasional deep kiss. Soon I wanted more though, so I pulled her nightshirt over her head, shed my pajama shorts, and started kissing and nibbling her breasts and erect nipples in earnest while my hand wandered lower and began caressing her thighs and bottom, carefully avoiding the dark patch of hair between her legs and what lies underneath.
One of the things I am hoping to achieve is to make her a more active participant in our love life, so I kept doing what I did, resisting the rising urge to move southwards to my favorite place to give some oral attention to, waiting for her to make her will known. When she finally tried to shove my head towards her nether regions, I took my sweet time, giving her stomach and navel a thorough cleansing while caressing her hairy mound and still avoiding her clit and labia. When my tongue finally arrived where my right hand had been lingering for some time, I wet two fingers and plunged them into her at the same moment my tongue made contact with her love nub. She bucked against my hand and stifled a cry of lust while she almost came from the added stimulation.
After this I joyfully applied my tongue and fingers to pleasuring that most fascinating part of female anatomy, kissing and licking around her clit and labia, making an occasional excursion along her thighs or down to her butt hole while keeping up a constant stimulation of her g-spot. The results were as rewarding to her as they were, by proxy, to me, who often likes giving her pleasure more than getting off myself. When she finally asked me to enter her with my cock, the finale was pretty unspectacular and over far too soon (in other words, I didn't last long), which was more or less expected after two weeks of forced abstinence.
Our anatomies still interlocked, we then cuddled face to face, exchanging kisses and laughs while basking in the afterglow of our lovemaking, wondering at the way more than an hour had passed without us noticing. When nature called, we finally disentangled our limbs, went to the bathroom, showered, and almost made it in time for breakfast. ;-)

Apropos of Cheap Fun
I just found this on UserFriendly.org. Made my day, it did.
Warning: don't go there if you can't stomach some mild kink. And yes, the link is work safe.

Weekend Update
Layne asked for it, so you all get to read more of me blathering about our house.
Contrary to my expectations, the roof didn't get tiled on Friday, but only got halfway tiled today, with the other half to follow tomorrow. And of course we had the mother of all downpours on Sunday. (Layne, your heart and lungs can continue their normal activity, nothing ontowards happened ;-) The reason this was no real biggie is that due to the way roofs are constructed around here (with a layer of rather durable plastic sheets fixed below the tiles), it has been basically rain-tight since early Friday noon.
The rest went according to our expectations. Our little upstairs terrace, which gives us a really nice view of our future garden and the surrounding plots of land, is almost finished, and the main and basement doors as well as the remaining basement windows have been installed. If all continues to go according to plan, we even should finally have electricity and gas by tomorrow, or Wednesday at the latest. Phew, two more big worries to put aside.
Work on the inside is progressing rather nicely as well. Walls are being closed with plaster-and-cardboard compound plates which even the rather knowledgeable German-English-Dictionary at leo.org doesn't know how to translate properly from the German "Gipskartonplatte", heating pipes are laid and radiators installed at the basement and upper floor (The ground floor will get underfloor heating. Yummy, no more cold feet for us, no Sirree! :-), and most of the light switches are in place as well. So most things are going as right as can be.
Yes, I said most. Open issue number one concerns the waste water from the kitchen sink, which as yet has no connection to the other waste water pipes in the house. But there are several possible solutions to this little problem, and they only have to figure out which one to take, so no biggie here, either. Problem number two concerns the drainage pipes below the basement. There is no sane way they are going to be able to connect those to the sewer system, and installing a proper drainage system would mean they'd have to dig a few more deep holes. This, fortunately, is SEP (Sombody Else's Problem), as long as anything gets done about it at all, and there is no way in hell they are getting away without this!
Which leads us smoothly to the above mentioned downpour and the issue of the wet/dry vac. Layne, since there is no way I'm going to be able to answer your question of whether we finally acquired such a beast without causing you undue worry, I simply won't. ;-) The reason why this seems like an unnecessary purchase to us was nicely demonstrated with that deluge on Sunday afternoon. We had easily more than two inches of rain in about half an hour, which is a whole damn lot for this area, which is part of the dryest region of Germany. But then, as I mentioned before, we've also got extremely light, sandy soil around here, which means that all of the huge puddles that had sprung up during the heavy rain had seeped away to nothing within an hour or two. What this boils down to is that we have far better chances at winning a lottery jackpot than having a flooded basement, now that the roof is in place.
And in a somewhat unrelated train of thought, I really need to acquire a scanner, so I can post a pic or two...
[Update: there are clouds gathering on the horizon. Those morons are trying to make those two issues mentioned above our problems with the help of some weasel clause in the contract. That means I have to leave work somewhat earlier today, which means a severely shortened lunch break, which means no sex post, at least for now. Sorry, Layne!]

The Arrival of the House of Gudy
I'm sorry for two things right now - one, that I'm not blogging here as frequently as I'd like to (nothing new here), and two, that I'm not blogging about sex as frequently as I'd like to. But if there is no sex (apart from the occasional bout with Rosie Palm & Co.), there is no sex blogging, it's as brutally simple as that. The main reason for this is that my wife is getting some serious grief from her remaining wisdom teeth, and is consequently in absolutely no mood for nookie. Not that I would blame her under these circumstances.
The other reasons all have more or less to do with the title of this post. The remaining preparations for the erection of our shiny new house, which is happening today and tomorrow, have drained a lot of time and energy. So much so that during the last two weeks we just didn't have the energy for more than some light cuddling and kissing, except for one time when we dragged up enough energy to barely get something going, only to see it getting basically nowhere. It's not that we didn't appreciate the cuddling and kissing, but hot sweaty sex is something different, after all.
OK, so if sex is not an option, let's talk some more about the thing that has come to occupy most of our non-work, non-sleep time - the house. We still have neither gas nor electricity, thanks to the foot-dragging lazy blobs of the local monopoly providers of said resources, but at least we now have the mandatory connection to the public water pipes in addition to our own well. :-| And the equally mandatory waste water container has arrived as well, and will probably get installed in an eight foot deep hole in our garden over the weekend. In other words, I have my work cut out for me.
If, that is, I can stop oohing and aahing long enough to actually get something done. ;-) For a bloke like me who is still pretty much used to the time tested brick-and-mortar (or brick-and-clay in the case of the in-law's house) way of residential house construction, having most of your new house arrive in preassembled chunks with the doors and windows already installed, and the inside walls almost ready to immediately receive some paint or wall papers, is pretty darn impressive. So we spent most of yesterday evening walking around the trucks, ogling the preassembled wall segments, and getting all worked up and excited in the process.
Driving to work when there is nothing but the basement and coming back to find an almost complete house (sans roof tiles, but everything else is basically in place) in the same place is pretty damn stunning. Let me tell you that it looks great, and will look even better once everything is finished. The rooms are spaciuous and bright, and things are pretty much as we imagined them from the technical drawings.
So this is it. The house. Our house. Which will be completed on the outside by noon tomorrow, roof tiles and all.
YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
(Sorry, folks, got a little carried away here.)

Good News
This just came in via Heise (German Language Alert). According to the vote of the Senate on H.R. 2658, BushCo. won't get a single dime for its Total Terrorist Information Awareness Program. Additionally, any funding, implementation, or deployment effort of said Program of Ill Repute is subject to specific authorization by law from Congress.
Random Ramblings
Now, this sure as hell wasn't what I'd had in mind when I started this blog. The original idea was that I would blog when I had something to write about, and when I didn't, well, then I wouldn't. It now turns out that blogging is like many other things in that it is a bit more complicated than at first envisioned: I feel the need to write something, anything, as long as I put fingers to keyboard. I have in fact felt that urge for a few days now, growing to almost physically palpable dimensions. The problem is, nothing much has happened around here, my brain feels like a pile of mushy pulp lying around in my cranium, and while the sex continues to be nice, it wasn't as memorable as to warrant blogging about it a day or two later (no doubt due to both of us not exactly being at our mentally and physically fittest at the moment). What this boils down to is that I have no clue what to write about, and I'll just ambush and abduct the first thought to cross my mind. ;-)
...
So now I'm sitting here, typing light grey letters on a black background, waiting for the rain which has paid a visit to the area around our work offices in a deluge of a downpour this afternoon to finally arrive around here, which by the looks of it probably won't happen. But that reminds me.
We've got water in our shiny new basement! And it's not that evil kind of water that spreads across whole square yards of floor and needs to be mopped up with a rag. This time, it's the nice, friendly water that flows through pipes and out of a faucet, and comes from our very own ground water well, which was installed this week. OK, so the pump is still running on borrowed electricity because the power company people are bumfucking lazy SOBs (not that there is anything inherently bad about bumfucking or laziness, as long as both are indulged in within limits ;-), but for some probably deeply unconsciuous reason inherited from our primeval ancestors something about having our own well just psyches me up more than the existence of the whole basement and the fact that the big gaping hole in our garden is now more or less levelled.
But why anyone would want to grind water is just beyond me.
(Yeah, I know, I'm being silly, but that's the way language processing works in my brain, so sue me for getting a cheap laugh squeezed in at the end.)

Another Death in the Family
My wife just called me with the news. Her maternal grandmother died this morning when her heart finally failed her. It never ceases to surprise me how there quickly develops an intense feeling of loss, even if I didn't know her very well, and even if I as well as my wife had previously developed a distinct dislike for her due to her constant attempts to meddle with our lives. And somehow such news is always a shock, even if it shouldn't be because we've known for months that it could happen every moment as her heart, never the healthiest part of her, was failing gradually, and increasingly taking her mind with it in the process.
My wife seems to take the news rather well. I absolutely dread this evening though, when my mother-in-law returns from the conference she's visiting today, and learns of the death of her mother. The death of her father two years ago upset her a lot, and although it had been slow in coming for years, she has just about come to grips with it. And now this. Fucking Fuck.
Of course our todo-list has just gotten a whole lot longer as well: In addition to the aftereffects of the death of my grandmother, which thanks to the tardiness of my uncle are still not done and over with, and the organizational mess that is our house construction project, we'll now need to help cleaning out another appartment, including a basement no-one has entered for years. I just hope we can keep my mother-in-law away from this as much as possible, because she would just torture herself with the memories that going through the belongings of your deceased mother inevitably brings, and she would keep us and my father-in-law from getting anything done in the process.
(And getting a scanner or digicam for me has just gotten a lot less important. Sorry, Mike.)

House Construction Status Update
Before I went on my business trip to Switzerland, I had a nice long rant in me about how the organization and scheduling of our house construction project is a total, unsalvageable mess: vital information didn't reach their designated recipients in time or at all, meetings were either cancelled or attended to by only a fraction of the people that should have come. But then came the beauty of Switzerland and an extended period of mental exhaustion, and it all faded into the background. And since I'm not the guy to hold grudges for a long time, and since despite the organizational mess things worked out in the end, that rant is irretrievably gone. Maybe with all the hoops and rings we'll still have to jump through to coordinate the schedules of our gas, electricity and water providers with the construction schedule, a new rant about the same topic will brew up in the future, but we'll see about that when it's time.
Of course, the fact that there is now a basement, complete with thermal insulation all around, sitting where there was nothing but an empty sand pit barely a fortnight ago, has a great deal to do with the vanishing rant: while the organization is still a mess (e.g. we still don't have a time schedule, promised to us weeks ago, about how things progress from here), the craftsmanship and overall quality of the work produced is excellent. And as promised, the construction site looks clean and orderly and not at all like the mess one usually sees at construction sites around here.
If only the weather were a bit kinder to us. Not that I really want to complain about the rain that's been coming in since about a week ago, as we had a long spell of hot, dry weather before this and the nature really needs the water now. But having to remove a dozen gallons of rain that has collected somewhere and then found its way down into the basement, with nothing but a rag and a bucket is a work I'm not keen on repeating any time soon: My leg muscles are sore, my back is all tensed up, and my hands are still a bit shrivelly from all the chemical residues the rain had washed out of the still rather fresh concrete.
But yes, it feels really, really good to be that much closer to our own home!

Bye bye Enetation, Welcome Haloscan
With Enetation having become increasingly slow and unreliable over the last few weeks, and Haloscan finally accepting new signups, I'm switching over to Haloscan for the comments. For now, I'll leave the old comments available per normal hyperlink.
This should hopefully speed up load times for most readers and provide a more reliable commenting facility.
